According to the Ari, Zohar and Tikuney Zohar as found in Sefer Yetzirah, the directions and sephirot correlate as follows:

Chesed                 south                 lulav right
Gevurah                north                 lulav left
Tiferet                   east                   lulav front
Netzach                up                     lulav up
Hod                      down                lulav down
Yesod                   west                 lulav back

There are also traditions for which letters of God's name to recite in each of the directions. This can be found on page 84 of Aryeh Kaplan's collection of versions of the Sefer Yetzirah.
