Do you know of English language teaching software for kids?

We Answered:

Yes! Rosetta Stone. I have used it in my classroom with Spanish speaking students learning English and my school purchased it in two other languages for other students. I know it comes in several languages.

Alan Said:

Teaching a Child English? Software? Games? Websites?

We Answered:

My nephew loves this site http://www.britishcouncil.org/kids.htm

he loves the songs. I have been teaching him for about a year now, and this site was good in the last few months. Muzzy is also good. Tyler (my nephew) loves muzzy. Tyler is 9 (going on 10) but I don't think that will make too much of a difference. That web site also has good songs that Tyler learned many words from.

Tyler's first language is french

this is also a good site, but it is more advanced.

my company is looking for english teaching software for its staff. But there are so many. Any recommendations?

We Answered:

i have heard nothing but great reviews of Rosetta Stone software. I am not familiar with the English version since English is my native language, but I have come in contact with many people who have had major successes with the Rosetta Stone for other languages.
