chochmat.gif (20345 bytes) Chochmat HaLev (Wisdom of the Heart) is an independent center specializing in meditation and spirituality training and practice. We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We seek to combine the wisdom of ancient tradition with the insights of modernity, creating a path of transformation much needed in contemporary America. We are multi-denominational and bound together by a belief that Torah wisdom has a profound ability to open the heart and heal the spirit.
Elat Chayyim, Accord, New York.  About an hour and a half outside of NYC, this remarkable Jewish renewal retreat center offers week-long summer retreats in Jewish meditation and Jewish renewal spirituality, also some seasonal and singles offerings throughout the year.

Metivta (an Aramaic word meaning "academy" and implying "spiritual fellowship") is a non-denominational center and school for Jewish wisdom and learning that is based in Los Angeles, and which impacts Jewish leaders and communities across the country. Representing a new model of a transforming and transformative Jewish community, Metivta unites contemplative spirituality with study, introspection, and practice, all rooted in the Jewish mystical tradition.  Founded by Rabbi Jonathan Omer-man.

C-DEEP ~ Center for Devotional, Energy and Ecstatic Practice is a resource-place for communities and individuals who want to cultivate the devotional and ecstatic aspects of their lives. A devotional path nurtures our love and receptivity to the "Great Mystery" and makes that relationship central to our lives. That relationship requires an experiential, embodied spirituality which expresses the connection between body, emotions, thought and pure existence. On the Devotional Path, we are required to continually purify our intentions and to expand the boundaries of self, beyond personality and ideas, to include the reality of Soul. I choose the word "ecstasy" to describe this process of expansion. Standing outside of "normal" consciousness allows us to expand our awareness and perspective, freeing powers of expression and creativity. The glimpse of unity that is experienced in ecstatic states allows us to trust enough to take that necessary leap into the unknown.
