Are there any good math teaching programs free online? We Answered:
Teaching adult education in math for several years, brought to light some real problems. It takes a lot of effort and energy to bring back even the basic skills of computation, and analysis of situations to translate into algebra. Those who did not, or could not soon dropped out of my course.
Another experience I had with correspondence courses (as a student, not a teacher) was the immense effort it was to keep at it, in the absence of a personal presence giving instruction and guidance along the way.
These are the two negatives facing you, in pursuing your goals.
To be positive, they can be overcome - but you have to be prepared to make the effort.
A time of personal preparation would be beneficial. There is a series called Schaum's Outlines - a series of books covering several topics in mathematics, including calculus and college algebra. A brief definition of each subtopic is presented, followed by solved (in detail) problems to study, followed by answered questions and supplementary questions. This is a good resource to start.
Next try to find an inexpensive course, such as are operated by some boards of education, others by community colleges or service groups.
I didn't look to see where you are, but in Canada, you might qualify, depending on your situation for help from Manpower in upgrading your qualifications if you are seeking employment.
Alternatively, you could hire a math tutor, a student from a local college or university, recommended by them as qualified to help you. This, however, is not cheap.
I only outline these resources - you must decide what it is you can do for yourself, or where you might need some help.
While the path may be difficult, you must start with the first step - Good Luck!

Do you think an online, real-time, virtual classroom for teaching math would valuable for homeschoolers? We Answered:
We have used Saxon with the DIVE CD rom. It helped our son by seeing the examples written out and explained step by step ,even though the teacher did the same thing that the book said to do. The DIVE CD was $50.00. The books bought at the used book store were around $50.00.Comparing $100.00 to $500.00, I don't see the benefits of a virtual classroom.

I have very bad skills in math can anyone tell me if there are any good math teaching programs online? We Answered:
heres a life lesson for yougood teachers are rarely good at math and vise versa.
math is a self taught subject. I have taken up to calc IV(differential) teaching myself all of the calculus levels. the teacher will simply tell you what it is you should be teaching yourself.
I have a good friend who is a grad student in the school of business at my college studying actuarial science. he is incredible at math. what does he do to get so good at it? hard work! when he takes a math class, he does every practice problem in the book from start to finish and aces every exam.
google can teach you too if you get discouraged but most of all teach yourself.
