As long as you are proficient, you should be in good shape. I taught on the Texas border and a lot of our teachers were ESL when they were in school. They were the best at teaching ESL to others.

I don't think Irish language teaches anymore I think he retired last year! Looks like you first need to learn how to Speak in English!

Any way it does be taught in all primary and secondary schools in Ireland! there are 17 letters in the Irish language!

How are you getting away with teaching a foreign language to students with out getting a degree in that language first? I'm in school to be a spanish teacher and I know that to teach it at the high school level you have to have a bachelor's degree in it and past the secondary teacher of spanish test. To teach it at the college level you have to at least have both a bachelor's and master's in it. So how are you able to do it with just a degree in law studies?

I would suggest you get the degree. The degree is full of classes that teach you the proper way to teach the subject as well as strategies on how to be an effective teacher.

At Primary level, instead of classroom instruction, make the classes interactive. So let the power point slides contain worksheets- you can find some of these on genki english website; some simple riddles or crosswords or acrostic poems; quotes; use some humourous short story for comprehension on grammar.
