how to find primary teaching job if you are overseas teacher and whos teaching degree is not recogniseby NARIc?We Answered:
We study but don't always get what we wanted. I would go for a UK qualification and look for supply teaching jobs. There are many around. Just contact each school and they will tell you where they look for teachers.Karen Said:
How do I go about finding a job teaching primary children in USA?We Answered:
Every state has its own requirements, so there is no nwn way to magically be qualified in all states at one time. SO... select the geographical area in which you are interested, then go that state's Department of Education and ask how to become certified to teach within that state. You may be able to get a temporary license or just take a few classes. Once certified, or on your way to being certified within the state, start checking with individual school districts about upcoming openings. Often there are "job fairs" at which dozens of school districts set up information and interview booths for upcoming openings . These are usually done between January and May. Many, but not all, school districts in the United States begin the school year at the end of August or beginning of September and end at the end of May to middle of June. If money is not a big issue, you might be able to get on as a substitute teacher which does not pay as well, but may allow you to get your foot in the door. Also there are some teacher exchange programs which allow you to change places with some one from the United States. This is usually only good for one year and I think that you need to have a teaching job to exchange.
Hope this gives you some ideas of how to start.
