What can I teach to kindergarten kids?We Answered:
Use the Internet! Search for learning activities for kindergartners. You can refine the search by using these terms:music activities for K students
reading activities for K students
Games for K students
It would be great if you could get ahold of some puzzles, blocks and other manipulatives. Go to a thrift store and see what you can find. This is a delightful group to teach. The music is so easy -- Hokey, Pokey, Five Little Monkeys etc. Try this website: http://www.stokespeaksout.org/children/r… It has some great ideas. Act them out to give the kids some time to move and get out the wiggles. Then read the story or stories. Then have them illustrate a page from the story and make their own books. You're going to find tons of things you can do with few materials. Good luck.

How do I teach kindergarten and 3rd grade students about....?We Answered:
Third graders will have an easier time with this concept than kinders. One good book I can recommend is Dr. Seuss's "The Lorax". It shows how disrupting the environment can endanger and threaten a species.
Another way is to play a game where the children are animals that become extinct, or endangered. Set up an obstacle course that the children must pass through to stay alive. Assign the students to be an actual endangered species, like the elephant. Start with one or two obstacles and then add more and more difficult ones. Give the obstacles names of actual hazards that cause endangerment, such as "the hunters", "not enough food", or "polluted stream". As the game progresses more and more students will fail to pass the obstacle course and it shows how changes in environment cause the animal population to decrease. Eventually all the "animals" will fail and become "extinct".

Can you think of creative ways to teach kindergarten students the moon phases by using worksheets? We Answered:
Why do you need to use worksheets? I don't generally see worksheets as creative, sorry. When I start teaching the phases of the moon I use a flashlight and a basketball.
You might be able to google coloring pages and moon and put something together that way.
