What does class="highlight">a drawing class class="highlight">teach you in college?

We Answered:

You'll take a whole string of drawing classes to progress you along from the basics on up. The first class is usually dull as hell, lots of cubes, cones, balls, crumpled pieces of paper, that sort of thing to perfect the basics. Next they add in advanced basics like shading techniques and line quality, and finally progressing to specialized drawing classes and eventually color, like figure drawing, architectural drawing, etc. After the first few drawing classes painting is usually required. You'll get there, don't worry! Remember, practice is very very important.

In my first class, there was a huge difference between the "haves" and the "have nots", but by my third class or so you couldn't tell who had come in with skills and who hadn't.

what can i class="highlight">teach class="highlight">a 5th grade math class after task?

We Answered:

Not really sure what you mean by "after task"?

Ask the teacher in the room you will be in what the students have already covered in math, and then just cover something slightly more difficult. For example, if they've already mastered division facts, you might do simple long division. If they know about fractions, start working on adding or substracting fractions. You will probably want to meet with the teacher and go over the curricullum that the school uses.

Another good thing would be to look in to the fifth grade level textbooks that your school uses for math. Pick a topic that they would normally be covering early in fifth grade (first few chapters of the book) and do that.

What is class="highlight">a creative way to class="highlight">teach class about the westward movement in America?

We Answered:

Try to find a pre civil war map of the U.S. with all the territories labeled. Using Lincoln's Homestead Act of 1862, ask the children if they would endure the hardships and deprivations for free land out West. What would they need to take with them on the journey and what would they need once they got there. How are they going to get there.

Was the war with Mexico even necessary. Mr. Polks war. Or just a way to expand slavery into the new territories.

How to class="highlight">teach class="highlight">a cooking class?

We Answered:

Start with hand-outs containing the name of the "dish-o'the-night" , a brief history or antedote of the dish, and a list of ingredients.

When the students are assembled, introduce yourself and the dish, then proceed as if you were in your kitchen. Make sure you stop for questions, let it be a two way interaction, keeping in mind that while you hace a culinary education, others may not know what you mean by "sweating the onions" or saute.

Make it fun!
