What is the best way to teach kids about saving?

We Answered:

Give them chores and a piggie bank make them work for money and tell them to save the money in their piggie bank. As far as charitable giving I dont know, my kids always give their old toys away to charities during the Christmas holidays and they always say that they get nice things for Christmas and they want the kids that dont to have nice things. I never taught them that I think they may have picked it up at church.

How to teach your kids the value of money? And how to encourage them to save?

We Answered:

I could go on and on about this because I can't stress enough the value of an allowance. Adults get paid a certain amount at a certain time, and most of us have to budget and save for the things we want. Kids need to be treated the same way in order to learn. But I'll try and keep it short and sweet! :)

Start by NOT buying your kids toys or any other thing that catches their fancy any time they want something. We only give toys on Christmas and Birthday, and if they don't take care of it, oh well, they're not getting a new one!

Give your kids a small allowance. A good guideline is 50 cents a week for every year of age. So a six year old would get $3.00 a week. Now that's not going to go very far, and they are forced to save it if they want something really good.

My daughter will save her money for months to buy that special toy, and because she knows how much it costs and how long it takes to save for it, she takes care of it.

I guess that's the short and sweet of it! LOL!
Good Luck to You!

Should I go to Korea and teach English?

We Answered:

I live in Korea and I am an English teacher. To tell you the truth.. if you are in a great situation now, you should just stay. It's not that Korea is bad but you never know what you are going to get. There are a lot of slimy business people here and the work is hard and long at hogwans. Don't lose momentum on your education get you prereqs done is my advice.

Why didn't Sarah Palin teach her kids to save their virginity till marriage?

We Answered:

well, i think THAT is the problem.. she was telling them to wait till marriage, and that birth control is a sin.. now the only sin in my mind is that a 17 year old is having a baby!!!
