How do i teach my soon to be fiancee how to be a united front with our kids?We Answered:
Tell your fiancee rule number 1: You are not running a restaurant and passing out menus, people eat what you make or they can go without. He needs to understand and accept this before you will consider marrying him. And he needs to pass this knowledge along to his son and have him abide by it. Any questions?Gilbert Said:
Domestic chores making kids better prepared for life?We Answered:
Luckily my parents introduced me to chores at the age of 9/10. Now i do cooking the laundry, iron my school uniform and both my sisters' uniform and sometimes my mums work clothes for the week, polish my shoes and everyone elses, hoover the house and clean the bath room. Every other day a wash the dishes on the other days my sisters do it. Now that I am 15 I realise that if i hadn't started young I would be completely hopeless. Many of my friends don't know how to make a bed, cook rice, use and iron or use a washing machine. Its pretty sad.Marcus Said:

Teach this to your kids! = ) *FUNNY*?We Answered:
I read that a long time ago, and it is still just as appropriate today! Thanks for sharing it again! I love it!
As for being too long, yeah, I think it took me an entire MINUTE to read!!!!
Also, I don't think you meant to have a child recite it word for word, just teach them the lesson from the poem, right?

Husband says Disney movies teach little girls to only rely on a Prince to save them....agree?We Answered:
WATCHING THE MOVIES SHOULD BE FINE. I AGREE WITH YOUR HUSBAND THAT IT IS A SILLY THOUGHT PROCESS WHICH I THINK LEADS GIRLS TO FEEL THEY NEED TO BE PAMPERED AND GET THE ABERCROMBIE AND HOLLISTER CLOTHES AND COACH THIS AND THE TIFFANY THAT.BUT GOOD PARENTING CAN OVERCOME ALL OF THAT. LET A LITTLE GIRL BE A LITTLE GIRL LOVING BELLE AND CINDERELLA, AND AS SHE GETS OLDER BE THE BEST PARENTS SHE CAN EVER ASK FOR AND YOU'LL HAVE A GREAT DAUGHTER, WITH EXCEPTIONAL VALUES.

Should we stop trying to save the black community? We Answered:
The rub is this:"how to act and teach them the life lessons that they need to succeed"
This is not as easy as it sounds.
If you raise your family to care only about your family, how are you any different than animals that care about teaching their young the "lessons they need to succeed" so that they can propogate and create more species, their species.
The very definition of civilization includes to care about your family and your neighborhood and your city-state.
