I can't find a teaching job in Nagoya Japan, does any body have any present or past connections? We Answered:
There a couple of things you can do.Check with your friends about the people they know in Japan. See if you can meet with them and they might be able to help you get an interview.
You could also check with the Canadian Embassy and see if they offer any help with contacts, etc. They may have some information or offer resources that could help you.
Also, check the internet and find other people that are there under a work visa, spousal visa, etc. They may be able to help guide you to the right people.
Good Luck.

I'm thinking about teaching overseas in September. Does anyone know any good sites to search jobs?We Answered:
I'm thinking about teaching in Taiwan in a couple of years and I found this great website that connects you to apartments, jobs, and others in the same situation. (http://tealit.com/) I don't know if you're interested in Taiwan but from what I've read from (http://transitionsabroad.com/) , which has loads of info about different job, travel, and study opportunities in lots of different countries, Taiwan has a big demand for native English speakers and pays pretty well with a very low cost of living. Check out both websites, I hope they help you!Marcus Said:
Accept a teaching job only to quit before I start? We Answered:
It's an excellent job offer. But it depends on your subject. If it's a social-studies like subject, you should accept or you'll regret later. If it's a math or science, you don't have to accept. Or if you feel that your acceptance of USA college means disturbing applicants from teacher-surplus countries like me, you should choose Canada I hope.
