Criticize the vision and mission of my school separately:?We Answered:
What is there to criticize. The Vision and Mission are a result of the Board of Trustees etc., writing of what they wanted the vision and mission to be. They are the power of the school and can have any set of goals etc., they want.It is not up to the students to decide if they like the rules, since this is obviously a private school, the students either need to accept the vision and mission or move to a public school.

Is there an effective Math learning software? We Answered:
I would recommend a program run by Stanford, called EPGY. The Education Program for Gifted Youth has math programs from kindergarten level through calculus. The program gives you access to a tutor and math software.Johns Hopkins' CTY and Northwestern's CTD also have distance programs.

What theories guide effective teaching and learning in an ESL class? We Answered:
Issues in Understanding Adult LearningDespite the plethora of journals, books and research conferences devoted to adult learning across the world, we are very far from a universal understanding of adult learning. Even though warnings are frequently issued that at best only a multitude of context and domain specific theories are likely to result, the energy expended on developing a general theory of adult learning shows no sign of abating. Judged by epistemological, communicative and critically analytic criteria, theory development in adult learning is weak and is hindered by the persistence of myths that are etched deeply into adult educators' minds (Brookfield, 1992). These myths (which, taken together, comprise something of an academic orthodoxy in adult education) hold that adult learning is inherently joyful, that adults are innately self-directed learners, that good educational practice always meets the needs articulated by learners themselves and that there is a uniquely adult learning process as well as a uniquely adult form of practice. This chapter argues that the attempt to construct an exclusive theory of adult learning - one that is distinguished wholly by its standing in contradiction to what we know about learning at other stages in the lifespan - is a grave error. Indeed, a strong case can be made that as we examine learning across the lifespan the variables of culture, ethnicity, personality and political ethos assume far greater significance in explaining how learning occurs and is experienced than does the variable of chronological age

what characteristics of the learner's did you notice served as roadblocks to effective teaching and learning? We Answered:
I think the roadblocks to effective teaching and learning do not solely lie on the students characteristics or how they behave in class. Moreso, it is the teacher's inability to set the proper classroom standard caused by bad classroom management. Failure to set the correct rules for the student to follow and the inconsistency in imposing such rules will serve as the roadblocks to smoothsailing teaching and learning.Joshua Said:
What is a good and effective language learning program? We Answered:
Depending on how much you might wish to spend, Rosetta Stone can be effective but can also cost over 1,000 dollars for some languages. To study German I found Instant Immersion to be a great and cheap alternative to Rosetta Stone. It is only about 80 dollars or less. So really it all depends on your budget, but I do suggest Instant Immersion, includes 6 discs and and iPod/mp3 learning disc too!!!Emma Said:
how does the use of multimedia in early childhood environment contribute to effective teaching and learning? We Answered:
Using multimedia such as Power Point presentations provides a visual "hook" to invest the child's interest, and focuses their attention on the concepts you are incorporating into your lessons.
