Any EFL teachers out there? We Answered:
I am an ESL/EFL teacher but I am in Korea, not the UK. Pay is not going to make you rich, but the cultural benefits can be very rewarding. There are a number of ways to land a job teaching English abroad, with many agencies that will help you get located and help negotiate the benefits package for you (usually salary, hours, with room and board and a free ticket home at the end of the contract). Here is one site that may help:http://www.eslcafe.com

I am an EFl instructor. I am considering immigrating to Canada. Where can I find a job?We Answered:
There is definitely a demand for French as a first and second language teachers. You will have to take some courses here about Canadian education but you can work while you do so.Try anywhere except Quebec. [They have enough French teachers there!]

Have I ruined my chances of getting a decent EFL job?We Answered:
If you are committed to teaching EFL, I think you should start in the USA and get a feel for teaching immigrants here. Then, as you get experience in addition to your credentials from the EFL course, you will get older and more mature, and will be able to handle the challenges of teaching from the perspective of TESOL.Your course marks are not the only requirements for teaching abroad. You need personal communications skills, confidence, ability to motivate your students, and empathize with them. These are all qualities and character strengths that can grow over time,
In order to teach, you need to be stable as well as a good teacher. You do not sound stable at this time. But I believe it can grow with your maturity. So keep studying and know you can have a great future. Take off the pressure, relax, and enjoy the classes.
