invertebrate project?

We Answered:

Have a powerpoint, with animals which are inverterbrates, and animals which aren't, and the children have to guess which ones are and which ones aren't?

lame idea i know, the first thing i could think of though.

OR get them to make an insect or whatever using a pipe cleaner and plasticine, and then they have to try and pull out the pipe cleaner, leaving the animal "without a backbone"

What is the difference between learning Spanish in high school and in college?

We Answered:

College-level courses are taught at a faster pace, but most still use games and pictures as teaching tools, along with book work and reading articles. Whether or not the class is taught primarily with English or with Spanish is up to the professor, there's no general trend because I know plenty of Spanish high school teachers who teach almost entirely with Spanish, even in the first-level classes.

Why should dance be required learning in elementary school and middle schools?

We Answered:

Dance is a nonthreatening way of interacting with other kids. Its social value is felt to be more important than physical development. Teaching the history is something else.

I have a math survey i need done. Please give a name and your age. Thanks for the Help.?

We Answered:

What I remember most about math class is my favorite teacher, which is also one of your questions. His name was Mr. Reeb...he wasn't all that cute but really helpful. You could talk to him any time of day or night, we all had his home phone number and there never was a time that was "Too late to call". My least favorite math experience is with trigonometry or geometry.....didn't much like those two subjects. But I really liked algebra and basic math.....I was always good with numbers, just not formulas like in trig or geometry. I am now learning them better since my own daughter has been going thru them though. Seems to be the second time around and having more experience with math is a lot better for me. I can operate quite the budget in my own household, my husband still wonders how I do what I do to keep us on track. So, hopefully I answered your questions for your survey. Good luck. Oh, I forgot to add....I had no trouble with any multiplication tables. And as stated already, I use lots of math tools today.

How can integrate more technology in elementary school classrooms?

We Answered:

I like using Webquests. There are different ones out there for every age level.

I also find interactive books/stories online and use them with small groups.

Powerpoint "storybooks" about the students are a great project for 2nd grade and up. Our 3rd graders did them last year and they were awesome.
