what are the implications of behaviourism on the teaching and learning of mathematics? We Answered:
Try to research and gain knowledge; knowledge is power. The Internet is a wonderful invention. If you take your subject of your question and add to what you want to know about it, the search engine will do the rest. For example:
My subject is Primary and Secondary Education. I want to know where to get certified as a teacher.
The search engine result is as follows:
Teaching + state certification requirements
What you get is this: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=Teachin…
This will work for any subject category. Give it a try and good luck
I like that approach better than just saying "Google it" or "Look online".

In your experience, is it easier to learn mathematics in English or in Filipino? We Answered:
I believe it's easier to learn in the language you are most fluent in at the time. I learned my multiplications in senior kindergarten and I felt it sounded better and was easier to memorize (I actually thought my mom was teaching me a song instead!). When I actually learned it in English, I found that the Mandarin (the langauge I speak) was easier to recall equations and calculate in even though my English now is much better than my Mandarin.Lisa Said:

what is the implication of behaviorism theory towards teaching and learning in mathematics? We Answered:
Behaviorism is all about punishment and reward. So, it's pretty clear: use rewards (or take away a punishment) to encourage good behavior, and use punishments (or take away a reward) to discourage bad ones.Note that you can only increase or decrease *behaviors* -- you can't use this to directly improve performance. So, you can get kids to study more, but you can't use rewards to make them smarter.

Technologies in Learning Mathematics?We Answered:
Teaching and Learning of Maths and the Internet is a great topic but very difficult to answer!!! There are numerous websites that can be incorporated into the maths lesson - www.mathletics.com.au covers all learning area within the math curriculum. The kids can play "math games" compete against each other speed up their addition/Multiplication/subtraction and division skills. The Internet can be used as a support tool to widen the learning experience...coolmath.com is another site that is good
Disadvantages are - Teacher not being able to fully and properly assess the student learning, eg not seeing the 'how did you do it' to pick up errors....
Less teacher student discussion. and student to student discussion
There is so much I could write about this topic but I don't want to do your assignment for you!!!
Advantages: Students can access at home,
self directed learning therefore giving child some responsibility over their own learning.
Kids love the computer and see it as privilege to use at school (especially in state schools where computers are not 1 to 1....)
Good luck
