my spanish class was really good last year, and one of the things for learning vocabulary my teacher did was put them as transparencies on the overhead and said the words and made a student point to them and somtimes he had too people do it at the same time and whoever got 5 right first won and got a stamp or two which was extra credit. another thing he did for vocab was this thing he called slapjack, and we took our regular flashcards and put them on two conjoined desks and two people would compete to find the card of the word he said and to make it more confusing he would make us put either spanish side or english side first.
