Give the difference between Laboratory Teaching Method and Science Teaching Strategies.?

We Answered:

Lab Teaching is a more hands-on approach in which students have to apply their own critical thinking and knowledge to gain a conclusion to their experiement or lab procedure. The science teaching strategies are just ways that teachers utilize to explain to their students the subject of interest. This is usually not very "hands-on."

Violet Said:

Should I take a career in Science Teaching or Medical?

We Answered:

Only if that's what she truly wants. I can't tell you how many people I've seen go into job titles that they don't even like. Just because she qualifies to do that sort of field doesn't mean she will like it. Ask her if she thinks she will have fun in you never know she might be into engineering or computers or maybe a CEO of a business. It all depends on her interest.

Donald Said:

We Answered:

A large part of science education is teaching openmindedness and avoiding jumping to conclusions prematurely. Take Global Warming for instance.

Science education, in its truest form, gives the ability to think. It doesn't hand out pat answers.

Johnny Said:

Is Western Governors University an okay place to get a science teaching credential?

We Answered:

Look elsewhere.

I get an email from them every semester offering to pay me to write exam questions for them. So it appears that there are no real math faculty there who are qualified to write an exam. And if they don't have the faculty would are qualified to write an exam how can their faculty be qualified to "teach" and assess a student's depth of the knowledge. Sounds to me like that don't have any faculty.

That kind of makes me feel like they really aren't a credible school. Why don't you go to your local state uni or try to do it online with a more reputable program like one run by a school with an actual physical presence (a campus where students attend classes face-to-face) somewhere.
