Jobs dealing with young children which do not require certification?

We Answered:

Childcare jobs pay very little. I would suggest that you give private lessons on the instruments you excel at.

Also, you can take ECE (early childhood education) units at your local JC which will look very good for whatever you do.

You might check with your local community centers about summer camps. You might work in one of those programs being so creative as you are.

Start calling now, as they get organized way ahead of time.

Good luck!

Money issues and seperation possible divorce?

We Answered:

so you have to sacrifice for the betterment of you and your daughter...i think it worth it. if you move back to your home state, can't your family help if you need them too? if that's not an option, there are other options to be able and start over with your daughter. you'll be able to find work even if it means doing something you normally wouldn't have done. it will be okay and you do have some substantial finances right now. and it is OK to take from your joint acct.
blessings and luck to you and your daughter

Possible seperation and money issues?

We Answered:

You have your own money, and legally, you should be granted 50% of the joint accounts, just be sure you get y our name removed from any joint CREDIT CARDS!! He could rack them up and you would be responsible. (also protect yourself from any mortgage you may have by asking him to "buy you out" of 50% of the value of the home, you don't want him to let the mortgage go and then you will have a Forclosure on your credit history. If you are moving back to NJ with your daughter, you should file in NJ, there is an 18 month waiting period for a NJ resident last time I checked, I used to live in NJ, and if he won't fight the divorce, it will be granted with no problem. If he decides to fight the divorce, and you are in NJ, he will then be required to go to NJ for all court proceedings etc.... and vice versa!

do you think i could get into boston college?

We Answered:

I got into BC, Tufts, Holy Cross, Notre Dame, was rejected at Brown. Did not apply to Georgetown.

My GPA was 3.74 unweighted and had a 1935 SAT and was in the top 6% of my class. Went to HC. I took most APs and honor classes available.

I think you stand a great chance at all but Georgetown and Brown where you will be a reach.
