In general terms, is education outside the U.S.A. better? We Answered:
When it comes to grades K-12, I believe most schools outside of the US have a better curriculum. These schools are very demanding of their students, so they force them to do a lot of homework. I went to school in China for several years, and there we usually have few hours of homework daily. Here in the US, homework is limited to around 30 minutes, because students complain too much and adults don't think that they are helping the students by assigning more homework. But from personal experience and common sense, the purpose of homework to is to increase intelligence. I guess that's why the US is not as good compared to other nation's schools. BUT that only applies to k-12. US have some of the best universities in the world. People invest so much money to these schools (private universities) that they only expect to educate and raise the smartest people. Also these schools provide students with so many accessories and facilities that students can explore their interests. So overall, the comparison between schools in the US and outside have to be separated. Grades K-12 needs improvement, while colleges are amazing.

Not bad.... I sorta edited it a little.Mine:
I believe this quote is accurate because if we all had empty minds, we would not come to know and learn the important things of the world. Most people define learning as something that comes straight out of books. While books provide us with an education of facts, I strongly believe there are also greater things to learn that books cannot tell us. For instance, there are issues in the world that no book could ever teach us enough about. Take racism for instance. Books cannot tell us how to stop racisim. They can only give us the knowledge to know what it is. People who have experienced certain issues can also give us a knowledge. We need to expand our knowledge using whatever is accessible to us. Knowledge is power, and it is very important for us to have an "open mind" for the people who are generations to come.
It's not great, but feel free to use it!! It's only 151 words, but add on stuff from your paper and it will def. be over 200! Good luck!

What do you think of my personal statement??? I want to do primary education next year?We Answered:
I can see you've got the bug.You have to be a bit savvy to what you want to do though and I would think secondary schooling is more your interest.
I say this because I had a similar experience where I was attracted to teaching through helping primary school children with their reading. During my studies I became interested in all the Educational stuff to do with how children learn. When I got to the schools though it was more management of 20 or so children that was the major focus.
This is where everything gets mechanical and you suddenly have a curriculum you have to teach. You quickly find that the stuff you love to teach gets chopped up into the smallest parts.
Secondary teaching allows you to teach the subjects you love at the level that doesn't need to be dumbed down so much. You sound like you want to extend the keen students, this is sometimes restricted in primary because it's either not your special topic or that student has to do it on their own as a contract rather than as direct instruction.
I love teaching but I'm still working at it.
OOps....The statement seems fine to me. Maybe a bit long winded when you are talking about the Art.

Not up to par education....home schooling? We Answered:
If you see the children often enough to know how much help their parents give with their schoolwork, then about all you can do is be there and be a role model. You're a woman, right? So make sure the girl in particular is aware that you consider yourself equal to men, that you use your education all the time, that you don't consider your money wasted, and that there are options for her other than (or in addition to) being a mum and keeping house.I would be embarrassed and ashamed if my 14 year old could not read, not making excuses and pretending it was somehow normal and acceptable. Dyslexic or not.

Teaching myself flute without lessons...?We Answered:
personally i wouldnt try learning without a teacher, but if you set on it then im not gonna stop youscales are a must, try Bflat, C, F, and G, i dont have a website, but those 4 are usually the easiest
metronome and a tuner are neccessities. without a metronome its nearly impossible to keep track of where you are in music and without a tuner its absolutly impossible (unless you have perfect pitch) for a beginner to know if theyre even close to being in tune...and out of tune flutes sound terrible!
i got both my tuner and metronome for $10 i believe
