Because they're lazy. It's like school prayer. A lot of Christians in the US want prayer in public schools yet less than half of them go to church on a weekly basis. Also there is nothing in the world to stop a parent from praying with their child before the child goes to school. I'm an atheists now but when I was a kid I went to a Presbyterian church. I had public school during the week where I learned the 3 r's and I had Sunday school on, well, Sunday. As far as I know many, if not most, churches still offer Sunday school classes. Perhaps the reason that more christian parents don't send their kids to those classes is because they, the parents, would feel obligated to attend services.Salvador Said:
