Atheists won't allow it because they are scared of the truth! simple as that. Creationism has so much scientific evidence and it is not a theory its a FACT !! Creationism is not a religion it is science. Religion is about praise & worship it about reading the Bible and following God's word. The first and Second Law of Thermodynamics proves Creationism. I advise atheists to see both sides of the spectrum before making a conclusion. I did i was taught evolution but it just didnt sit well with me there was so many unresolved questions that evoltion just didn't make sense. I mean c'mon people when has there ever been a fossil found thats been half dog half retile. i think that both should be taught , as they are BOTH theories and beliefs, so they should be treated equally.personally, i believe in evolution and do not believe that there is no gravity and the earth is flat, but some people think otherwise. people shouldn't be so offended by religion , and also by evolution. we should respect each others beliefs, instead of being so ignorant.
so, in fact, my stance on this issue is that they should both be treated as equal, and both be taught.

Exactly !! I can't believe the arrogance of these fundie Xians who think the whole world was created by the Bible God. And who think we're all descended from that drunken Noah & his incestuous grandchildren.Yes, all creation myths could be taught in school AS LONG AS equal time is allotted to each. Then maybe the kiddies would realize their religion is just a myth like so many others.
But teach current myths AND ancient myths so they can see just how their religion evolved from Egyptian, Hindu, & Buddhist ideas.
