Im teaching english to 8 year old kids, does anyone know any free courses I can download on the internet ?We Answered:
Good teachers engage their students in instruction.Plopping in front of them "free fun lessons" is no substitute.
I'm a little concerned about your English skills, too.

What's a good teaching english as a second language course? We Answered:
TEFL- Teacher of English asd a Foreign Language, which means in your country people don't generally speak EnglishTESOL- Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages, which means you may be teaching foreign kids in an English-speaking country.
CELTA is a certificate given by Cambridge to certify you to teach to adults. Not kids, like other programs.
Depending on what you want to do, I think you should research more and find who you want to teach, if you want to teach in a school, where different programs are available, can you afford them. Talk to people who have taken the courses. There is a LOT of variety.

Is there a short term English teaching course in Thane? We Answered:
You can teach yourself by reading in Methedology or surfing the internet on teaching methods and techniques.I can give you some teaching tips as a start:
-Teach students how to gain information, don't give them a spoon feeding information.
- Gain thier attention and make them all participate.
- You have the master key of all kinds of students so you should vary your ways of teaching and practising. Some students like to learn by listening(tapes, reading loudly), others like to learn by seeing(charts, flash cards, vidios) and others learn by doing(games, writing on the board, search on the net), So mix them up.
- Never say "no" or "wrong" to incorrect answers. But use "try again", "who has another answer", "think again","listen to your friend"
- Never turn your back to the students while writing on the board.
Good luck with that career, it's not an easy one.

Can I get funding for an English Teaching course in England? We Answered:
Yes - you can get funding to do a Cert Ed and PGCE in post compulsory education - which is what you would need to teach this type of student. You do, however, need to secure a number of teaching hours to complete the course. I suggest you contact your local colleges, find out who offers the course you need and then ask them about grants etc. Remember you now need to do a year long ESOL course to teach in the UK - the 1 month course is no longer sufficient unless you are thinking of moving abroad. (You may also be entitled to a Golden Hello after your first year of qualified teaching - I was). Good luck!
