Aussie jobs for teaching english overseas?

We Answered:

You don't need to speak a foreign language since instruction is all done in English. Usually you won't get your airfare paid for and the money you receive is enough to cover basic living expenses and accommodation and a few nights out.

Get yourself qualified and then find a job in the country of your choice and go there to work. It's as simple as that!

What are your thoughts on teaching English overseas?

We Answered:

Noble thought to teach english overseas. The question is how much Thai do you speak? Would you be able to get by. Do you have contacts over there and have you done any research in regards to where you would live eat etc. Have you checked with the State Dept. for their guide for living and working in thailand (go to US embassy thailand web site under citizen services),or checked for warden messages(safety warnings). Also have you checked to find out what working papers you might need? The news the last few weeks have been unsettling in terms of the political situation. Trust me the last place you want to beis in the middle of a third world country in the midst of political upheaval. I was in the philippines when it happened there it was not fun.
