Where are websites that I can search for an English teaching positions in China? We Answered:
eslcafe.com, as already mentioned, is excellent. But don't rush into any decisions when it comes to finding a job and try to speak to other foreign teachers already there through email, or preferably, over the phone. I spent some time in Korea doing this and did little or no research whatsoever, so I hated the experience. The school was in a lot of debt, the Korean staff were concerned that the school would close any day, the children were beaten, there was no heating in the building (during the cold winter months) and the accommodation provided was inadequate. There was temperamental heating and only cold water to shower in, which wasn't great when night-time temperatures would dip to -15°C. And despite paying my utility money to the school director, my bill never was paid, so I returned home late one night after Christmas in the UK to a cold, dark apartment. My gas and electric had all been switched off. The apartment was so cold and damp that mould was growing in one wardrobe and up one of the walls in my kitchen. Nothing could mask the smell of this, no matter how hard I tried, and the musty smell would cling to me and my clothes. It was awful.
Also beware of schools that insist on taking your passport when you arrive. It was something that only a handful of foreign teachers in Korea complained about, but it makes it especially difficult to get out if things get bad. You might also like to read about how much it will cost if you decide to throw in the towel early. I could manage only three months as I felt the experience was affecting my health, and even though I was tied into the school with a contract, enough was enough and I did the infamous 'midnight run'. I finished school on a Friday evening at 6.00pm and was on a flight out of there at 8.00pm. That was the most satisfying experience of the trip!
Don't get me wrong though, most teachers will enjoy their experiences, and some will even stay on for more. I met people who renewed their contracts year after year at the same schools, simply because they loved it. One particular guy was working his eighth year at the same school. And with every new contract came a more attractive salary and greater perks.
Just look around and remember that this way of job hunting is the complete reverse of what you might be used to. Since jobs are plentiful, you will find that you choose the employer. The employer doesn't choose you.

English teaching positions for foreigners in Dubai? We Answered:
Requirements:Requirement will depend based on the class level that you will be teaching. The higher the class, the heavier the requirements will be. A good degree level education and Teaching Experience of 1 to 2 years or even more are the basic requirements for most teaching jobs.
Native English Spakers or not ? :
Most Dubai Jobs that I have read clearly state that they seek people from UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia or Ireland and other similar countries. If you have excellent communication skills, teaching skills, I don't think there is any bar based on your tongue! One could be native and not have other requirements met, yet one could be none native but be an excellent candiate of other requirements. Most english teachings are not only about written English, but also about the Spoken English. If you are master of the both, nothing will stop you.
Degree in TOEFL or Cambrdige ?:
Not many accept TOEFLs but Bachelors Degree
Types of Schools:
Mostly Private Schools

What sort of job's/ positions are there for Gaijin in Japan besides teaching english? We Answered:
You can get your foot in the door with some English teaching companies. Nova, for instance, has a publishing branch that I'm interested in. So I'm leaving for Japan in August to teach conversational English, and have it in the back of my head to keep an eye out for opportunities with their publishing company.I think your best bet would be to go over and teach English just to get set up and get your foot in the door, then begin to network, jobhunt, and outshine the other "tourist" English teachers.

Does anyone know of any sites for applying for english teaching positions in China? We Answered:
You can go to China with a few different methods. The way I went was by going to China alone without any company assistance, but you can also go to China through agencies in America or in China. But, If you know China then you know that everything in China is relationship based, so the best possible way would be a recommendation from a current teacher in the company you are looking at.
Wallstreet English is a big international English company ( so all requirements must be met), Xin dong fang (new oriental) is a large Chinese company in china with locations in many cities. And then there are also universities...which are good if you are learning as well, but offer little pay, unless you are just that good at negotiating.
please note, to get a work visa in China you are required to have two years work experience and a college degree. This doesn't mean it can't be done if you are lacking either, but you may have to pull some strings and do a little funny paperwork.
