How can I obtain a second teaching credential in California?

We Answered:

I am not from California, but generally you are required to take university level courses in the subject areas that you wish to teach. I suggest contacting your school board or even your principal. If there is a high demand in the area of health then they may allow it. If not, you will probably have to take classes and get a degree.

Is it worth going to college to teach Physical Education?

We Answered:

Bottom line up front is that no matter what you want to do in life, a good education is the foundation for that vocation and will net you more money in most cases than just a high school diploma. If you want to teach Physical Education, you will have no choice but to seek a degree and obtain a teacher certification or licensure.

How should I explain oral sex?

We Answered:

First of all I am not sure it is one of the subjects that is discussed in 6th grade. I know they do sex education but, its usually regarding the changes in the human body (getting puberty hair, smelling differently, talking differently, menstruation, etc..) Before the teacher can talk to the children about oral sex and such a parent has to sign a consent form to allow their child to participate. Wouldn't touch the subject and that is why we have administratives at the school. Ask the principal and other administrative for support.
