class="highlight">Teaching class about similarities and differences?

We Answered:

You must be in a teacher ed class and this is a demonstration lesson? If so, first determine the grade level of the plan you will present (ok to announce that to the class), then plan activities around that. Easiest activity is physical similarities and differences (this can be used for several grade levels). For lower grades have students count and sort by eye color, height, etc. For upper grades, graph and chart. Can expand into married/single, family types, other similarities and differences. Stay hands-on, activity-based. Then lead a discussion on "best" traits. Students will debate and should arrive at the conclusion that there is no "best" appearance, height, etc. Discuss tolerance and close with students restating concepts learned and how tolerance can be applied across life experiences. The debate, discussion, and recap closure should be tailored to the grade level of the target students.

I have a class="highlight">teaching class tommorow please help?

We Answered:

I think you should only include the important notes. If you include all the points, your powerpoint will seem too lengthy and cluttered. You should use it more as a guiding aid rather than the full lesson itself...also people tend to not read things if they are too long, so they will be more likely to read your powerpoint if you only put the important points on there! Good luck!

I have a class assignment but I dont know what I should do, Its a class="highlight">teaching class?

We Answered:

The best teachers are genuinely interested in their topic. So, is there something you love to do? Teach someone else how to do it. I'm a science teacher, so I like to do fun demonstrations. Teach them how the bernoulli principal works by showing them how to make a great paper airplane. Or teach them how to estimate how many M&Ms are in a large bag if all you know if the mass of one candy and the mass of the whole bag. Just pick something that YOU like and your enthusiasm will get others interested and let the prof know that you are a good teacher.
