I interviewed for a teaching job last week and now the school is posting the positions on a job board? We Answered:
Don't sweat it, for a couple of reasons.First, public school jobs must be posted -- it's a requirement, even if they have the person they want to hire.
Second, often the jobs are posted on the district site by someone in HR. Meanwhile, the principal is still interviewing people for it. It's pretty common for central admin to have no idea what the people in charge of hiring at the school are doing.

Suggestions helping to choose between job positions? We Answered:
Out of all your options there is only one that can lead to lifetime pay and benefits. Private companies cannot afford to offer those anymore. Having said that, we can't tell you what to do, you are the one that has to live with your decision and I can tell you that no matter which you choose you will have a stressful day and feel that you made the wrong choice. So you need to throw emotion out of this decision and use logic and facts. This is what I did when I once was presented with 3 remarkedly different options. Take 3 sheets of paper, write the job title for each job one at the top of each. List the pay, drive, hours right on top of each. Draw vertical lines down the middle of each paper, write Pro on the left side and Con on the right side of each sheet.
Now lock yourself away for 10 minutes (I use a timer) and think of every single pro and con for each job. Some things may be both pro's and con's, some things pro's for some, con's for the other. Write down items quickly and do not over analyze each item. Let your gut, as well as your mind, lead you. Because I want too, or Because I don't really want to, counts as logic in your list. I hope you understand what I mean.
Ben Franklin was a brilliant man, and using his method as above always helps me clarify a position in my mind. And I've used it to choose a job, end a marriage and have a baby.
Good luck and congrats on your good fortune.

where i can find web based teaching job position/home based teaching job?We Answered:
There are a number of universities that have distance learning (DL) courses on-line where you never step foot into a classroom. All student contact is via Internet, including tests, papers, and all homework. You can sometimes have student forums, where all students must log in at the same time and "converse" but usually, the students are free to log in when they are available. You set the date and time stamp as to when homework is do. Simply contact the universities and see what opportunities they have in your specialty. This is far better than some of the straight On-line sites that are not necessarily accredited. That is a key point in deciding your employer. Good luck.Audrey Said:
What is the best way to find teaching positions in Nebraska? We Answered:
See if Nebraska has a department of education or board of education website... that's how it is in Indiana, there's a central website for the dept. of ed. and they list openings there. School districts aren't required to list, but most of them do. Also, you should call a university (I don't know what universities exist in Nebraska) but most of them should have some kind of placement office that receives listings of openings. It's not too early, but don't panic! Good luck!
Why do you want to teach in Nebraska? Believe me, there are lots of rural districts here in Indiana that could use you!!
