private school teaching job/soccer coach...?We Answered:
it should be easy to transition into teaching, especially at a private school. i teach at a public school and i coach club soccer also. i have coached high school ball also and it doesn't really matter what license you have.the requirements to teach at a private school are much more lenient as opposed to a public school, where you would have to take a series of state mandated tests as well as join an expensive credential program.
do not switch careers expecting to make a ton of cash in coaching and teaching. private schools are more lenient but also pay significantly less.
let me ask you... do you get paid to coach club? did you play professionally? Do you have a Masters degree?
if you do have a masters, you should try to get a Junior college coaching job and go from there

Are there alot of private schools in london? We Answered:
There are plenty - many people are desperate to opt out of the state system which is poor in London (and not helped by that very fact). Look for ads in the appropriate press.
