I really don't see an issue with your transition. The students are simply a year or so older, and many states when they certify you cover the entire gambit of K through 12. Imagine teaching 3rd graders one year and being tossed into High School the next....I don't think your leap should cause you that much stress, just keep in mind the curriculum and the fact they are a bit older and "wiser".Priscilla Said:

Top it- It's kind of like war. You flip over a card and who's ever is the highest wins both cards. You can also flip two cards and have to add them together or subtract them and who's ever is the highest wins. It depends on how old your kids are.Math bingo- You can have kids write numbers from like 1-25. Then read simple math problems like 2+3=? Have the kids figure it out and then place a chip on that number if they have it. First one to get like 5 in a row wins. You know how to play bingo right?
Those are really the only ones I can think of at the moment. There are other games but you need special boards or pieces. Have fun with your Math Jamboree!

You will need at least a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education to be able to teach Kindergarten. In some states you will need a Master's. What math courses you will need depends on the education program you are in.
