I'm trying to find out the name of a video series I saw in elementary school during "library time".

We Answered:

Hi, I just spent half an hour searching in the WorldCat library database but didn't have any luck. There's a good possibility that your school still has this set of videos, or that the media specialist could still be teaching there. I'd contact the school unless someone happens to come up with the name of the series. If you find out, please post it here, because I'd be interested to see what it is!

Is some sort of certification required to teach parenting topics to parents?

We Answered:

It would depend on the state you live in, but generally no - as long as you don't portray yourself as "certified" or some other approved thing. I mean, people teach computers and sewing and lots of other things.

And frankly, if you need to be certified to teach parenting, I think we should require such classes and only allow certified parents to have kids.
