Something along the lines ofIf they dont adopt the successful Dutch sex ed system, with no opt out for anyone.
This starts age 5 and continues weekly till 18 and would feature every single question you would find in teen, pregancy, sex and relationships sections and problem pages.
Then they may start getting opunished as a danger to children the difference between the US and the Netherlands in the first link

Much of the anti sex ed attiudes come from relgions morality so turning th tables (got good links) bringing up things like the inquistion, children being murdered in africa by the church accused of witchcraft (and show how peacful wicca is), stoning, honour killings etc blows those arguments out the window

Help! Writing to my middle school principal about improving sex ed?We Answered:
When it comes to sex ed, most schools must follow strict guidelines. These guidelines basically tend to shy away from what kids really want to know about sex. Schools only provide the basics and the scientific information, this is because it is not up to the schools to teach morality. Schools still depend on parents to fill in the blanks that are left out. Now, as we all know, some parents don't fill in the blanks or fill in the blanks too late.I admire you for wanting to help but you must understand, you still don't have all the answers about sex. Plus, having a young person talking about sex could persuade some kids to have sex. If you still believe that you can make a difference, try first talking to a youth group at your church first to get experience and a real understanding of your audience.

How are middle school and high school classes in Japan taught? We Answered:
Usually a 14 year old would be usually a 9th grader, which is their 2nd year of middle school
Students who are in their 2nd year, is called chugaku ninensei which translates to 2nd grade middle school, or directly: middle school second grade.
In teaching of the classes, unlike America, the students stay in the classroom for most classes (ie: math, language, english). Usually they go to a separate room for like gym, science, home economics, art, etc. They get to be lazy and let the teacher move around.
Generally, they are only allowed to leave the classroom unless it is an extreme emergency. They are supposed to use the bathroom during their break time.
They're usually required to join an activity, for after school matters. A very popular activity is baseball, for boys. I see boys on bikes with baseball gear all the time its really interesting.
High school is also generally the same,
the schools in japan, elementary is 1-6 grade, middle school is 1-3 grade, and high school is 1-3. they start over at each level.
also, after elementary school, they have to take entrance exams to get into middle school or high school of their choice, also for college. this is why they spend massive amounts of time at cram school, which is also a regular afterschool activity for japanese students.

Are you an middle school english teacher? What degree did/do you have?We Answered:
Ok, if you want to teach English, major in Secondary Education in English. If Regents has a state approved teacher education program, this will allow you to become certified to teach high school. You can simultaneously take a series of classes (usually 2 or 3) to become endorsed to teach middle school. I could be wrong here, but I don't think any state offers specific middle school certification. Instead, you have to be certified to teach elementary or high school and then can earn an endorsement (kind of like a minor) to teach middle school. Since you want to teach a specific subject, your best bet is to get certified to teach high school. This is how I earned my degree/certification.If you get your BA in English, then your only option will be to get a Masters in Education to teach-which can take you anywhere from 1-2 years to complete. I say go for a BA in Secondary Education in English with an endorsement to teach middle school.
Middle schools and junior highs are a growing trend, so I would say that yes there is a need for teachers at that grade level. However, at the time, the largest growing need is in math and science.
But, I have been teaching 6th grade LA for four years now and absolutely love it-so my personal opinion is to go for it. My favorite aspect is teaching writing, so if that is a huge passion for you, good luck!

Common issues in middle school teaching? We Answered:
When in middle school certain students have not reached a level of competence it becomes difficult to introduce them to reading materials . There is often a conflict between content and language. A 15 year old may not prefer fairy tales but he may not be competent enough to comprehend a murder mystery!Kathy Said:
Cursive writing books for middle school students? We Answered:
https://www.rempub.com/showcart.cfm?resu…This book is geared to students in grades 3 to 6. I teach middle school and have to work with students on handwriting. There are many fonts available (some for free) that are dashed print in cursive for the students to practice. The students can begin by tracing, then writing on lines.
The best way is for the students to practice, practice, practice. Make some assignments a "cursive only" assignment. Give them homework in which they have to practice cursive.
If you can find an old Zaner-Bloser cursive book or D'Nealian Cursive book (ask some teachers - you'd be surprised what they keep around!), these are also good because they don't have the little kid pictures in them, just good old practice, practice, practice.
