Loretta Said:

Is teaching about Greek and Roman mythology teaching religion in schools?

We Answered:

I would have to say no.

Having a good understanding of mythology helps you understand literature much better. I had to read a mythology book for my summer assignment for AP Literature because most classics have mythological themes. It's not being taught to show you something to worship, it's being taught for a better understanding of society, literature, and culture.

Wanda Said:

Why do liberals teach religion in schools?

We Answered:

learning about the world's religions and how it affects society and behavior is important. This has nothing to do with being liberal or conservative. Evolution is a scientific FACT and should be taught. Just because the teacher teaches evolution or world religions does not mean they are not a Christian. I know I taught biology and evolution and taught Sunday school on Sunday at a Christian church. Faith is a major part of my life and so is science.

Your statement is riddled with contradictions and confusion.
