where can i find research articles on different types of ell teaching strategies? We Answered:
Try some searches on these two sites. The first one is the National Center for Educational Statistics and the second is for ERIC - education resources information center. I used ERIC a lot in my post graduate research for lit reviews. Good luckRicky Said:

It's my new teaching strategy: what do you think of it?We Answered:
Try this. It worked beautifully for me. Review each HW answer in class. Students USE A GREEN PEN and check their own work. They make all the corrections necessary. That way, they get to see immediately if they are right or wrong, they see how and why they made their mistakes, and they actually LEARN from their homework. Best of all, you just review it. You don't have to check each item individually and it saves you tons of time.I always gave full credit for homework, if it was done on time, even if there were mistakes (as long as they corrected them in green), since homework is practice and not a test. By having students use a green pen to check their work, I could see if many were having the same problems, and I could tell if they had done the homewok ahead of time. If a student came to class without the homework, he had to do the entire thing in green while we were checking it. That way, he got half-credit.

Its my new teaching strategy: what do you think of it?We Answered:
1. If your station in life upsets you so much, why are you continuing to pursue it? I teach and don't make great money or get much respect, but I love doing what I do. It's never too late to try a different field!2. Don't do a disservice to your students because of your own hang-ups. They are paying for an education and they deserve the same quality instruction you would have expected as an undergrad.
3. Try to keep in mind that one of the best methods of truly gaining conceptual understanding of a subject is to teach it. Besides getting cheap help, the university probably hopes you'll learn something in the long run.
I wish you luck!

Public schools teacher - what did your training include? We Answered:
No accredited teaching school gives a bachelors degree in two years. It is a four year program. You study your core subjects such as English, Math, Science and Social Science. In addition you take Education Methods Courses, Child Psychology, Tests and Measurement courses, Technology in the Classroom Courses and you do observations much as you have outlined. Your final semester you teach full time in a school under the supervision of your college professors and an supervising teacher at the school. You assume all the regular teachers duties by the end of the semester.
