Is it possible to get a good job teaching english in mexico if I have only a hs diploma and TEFL certificate? We Answered:
It's possible but more difficult without a 4-year degree. Most teachers in Latin America (98%) teach under a tourist visa. Latin America is one of the few places you can teach without a 4-year degree. They don't pay as well as other countries but you can brush up on your Spanish skills.Note: I know Mexico is in North America but I am referring to the region in general.

Does 2 years teaching experience compensate for no degree when applying for TEFL job abroad? We Answered:
Hey,Unfortunately most countries that require a degree do so for visa purposes not for specific teaching quality purposes. In some cases it may be the school and not the country that requires a degree and in this instance a lot of experience teaching may work in your favour. Generally though if the visa requirements state that you need a degree you will need one!
This website is really good for TEFL information http://www.onlinetefl.com

am I likely to get a job teaching english in China after completing my TEFL certificate at 18years old?We Answered:
It is fairly easy for American to get an English teach job in China as most of school, from middle school all the way to college, always hire foreign English teachers. A TEFL certificate certainly will be a plus.Xian is a large populated city in northwest China. It should be fairly easy for you to get a job there. However, primary school job might be a little tougher as domestic oriented primary schools rarely hire foreign teacher. Nevertheless, you may try the primary schools designated for foreign kids.

How do I get a job teaching English in Paris? I am a fully qualified English teacher and also a TEFL teacher.?We Answered:
If your not a EU citizens you going to find it very hard to get a job in Paris or any other EU country teaching. Most T.E.F.L teachers are mostly British or Irish, no visa problems etc. To employ someone from outside the EU they have problems firstly they have to advertise the job in other EU countries before they can employ someone from outside the EU. To much paper work, visa permit etc.Jesus Said:
