im 32 yrs with ahnd in fashion but would like top go in to teaching pre school children what course is availab? We Answered:
If you want to be a nursery teacher you should have at least NVQ3 in childcare if you want to be a teacher and not just an assistant.I think Montessori course is very valuable, it is just a 1 year course but it is equal to NVQ4 so you would be able to teach in a montessori nursery which I find more interesting than just a day care.
you can find out more about montessori method on www.montessori.org.uk.
hope this helps.

How can I earn a teaching position at a top-tier school district? We Answered:
If you intend to teach at any level with any district in the state of Ohio, you will need to obtain a teacher certification, or licensure, through a process and meet the requirements for that state. If you decide to teach elsewhere, you may have to check on reciprocal certification requirments. Many states accept certification from other states, but not all. I will attach links that will assist you in determining what requirements you need to complete the teacher certification program and if you decide on a different state to teach, where to locate that state's requirements. As for getting into a Top-TIer school district, everyone likely would want that prestigious position, so it is highly competitive, and likely political as well. Good references and knowing the right people will aid you tremendously with that. Good luck.http://www.ode.state.oh.us/GD/Templates/…

What are the top Education schools? We Answered:
New England is blessed by having many fine colleges and universities. Where do you want to live? in NH the U of NH in Durham is very good, of the smaller state schools, try looking into Keene State. U of Mass at its many campuses are very good in preparing high school teachers. For teaching in secondary level, any good state school would be great. If you want to work more in educational investigation you will need to go to very high level schools.Eileen Said:
what are the top schools to go to when you want to become a teacher or professor? We Answered:
Becoming a teacher and becoming a professor require very different things. If your goal is to teach high school or younger, you just need a teaching certification and would be wasting your money to go to an Ivy League school (unless you got a huge scholarship). There are many state schools with very good education programs, usually at least one standout education program in each state. If in doubt, ask some of your favorite high school teachers where they went. And if you already have a bachelor's, there are one-year certification programs you can do in many states, or a masters in education.
For a professor job, your degrees would all be in your subject, not in education (unless you want to be a professor of education), and it would be in your interest to go to a top school in that subject at least for your PhD. Usually you learn to teach while doing your PhD in your subject.

As a School System you have to spend your money wisely. You can not Teach All the Arts, Have All the Sports, and Teach All the Languages.
Anyone with "RARE Interests" (as in numbers, hard to find, not popular), should look for them outside the public system.
Add that teachers in those "Interests" are hard to find. An ideal teacher will speak it as his native language or at least he spent time in a Country where the language is spoken.
